Founded in 2003, the Arab World Regional EC Network is an informal network of organizations and individuals working on expanding information about and access to emergency contraception in the Arab world. The network offers members an opportunity to exchange information and resources, share experiences, and identify priority areas for research and collaboration. The AWRN is currently coordinated by Angel Foster of Ibis Reproductive Health.

Developed by the Office of Population Research at Princeton University, Ibis Reproductive Health, and the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals the medically accurate, culturally adapted website provides information about EC and a database of worldwide EC availability, searchable by country.
